«Although this EP is released with three persons in the band, NamNamBulu is currently reduced to two persons. Stefan Mächler, on this CD responsible for drums and keyboards, has left the band. Not so important, because the input of Vasi Valis [keyboards, production, composition, arrangement] and Henrik Iversen [lyrics, vocals] seem to be the key factor in the music. “Blind?” is six songs long quality synthpop. There are a lot of possible examples, but it’s easier to put the music somewhere between acts like Covenant, Wolfsheim and Depeche Mode although the band has got some EBM influences as well. Especially the great voice of Henrik Iversen makes this a lovely [melancholic] record to dance and listen to. Remarkable is the light Turkish [or Arabic] pop influence in ‘Ignorance’. Other remarkable point is that the band has absolutely no trouble in creating interesting songs of five minutes and longer [like the seven minutes during ‘Survivng’]. Best song is probably the slowly built up song ‘Guardian Angel’, but actually – as earlier mentioned - the whole album is filled with quality synthpop.
