NAMNAMBULU – Expansion EP

They are back! Just months after the first album the band from Switzerland give us their second album. This time it's an E.P with 11 tracks and it could be seen as whole new record. The new record "Expansion" was in my hands before I had time to get tired of listening to the first one.

The record have five new wonderful tracks and six very good mixes of song from their first album. The new songs have the same sound as the the record "Distances" with one exeption, this is definitely harder. More distortion on the vocals makes the tracks rawer. But they still have the soft charm with the melodic music.

The mixes of old songs have also been made harder, more bass etc. The production is, exactly like the first record, good all through. No matter how hard I try, I can't find anything to complain about. So, just sit down in a comfortable sofa, put on the CD and use some nice headphones to enjoy new songs such as "Faces", "Forgiving" or why not listen to a new mix of tracks like "Memories" and "Now or Never". - Tommy Richardsson
